Off the point of Cape Newagen in Maine sits small Cape Island which is visible from the town dock of Southport. The home on this island was the residence for many years of Margaret Hamilton who played the Wicked Witch of the West in "The Wizard of Oz" movie. Today this picturesque coastal home is still enjoyed by the children and grandchildren of Margaret.

Nature has always played a significant role in my life. On walks with my dad when I was a child, I was taught to notice the world around me and appreciate the wonder of nature and all of God's creation. To this day, being out in nature is balm for my soul and necessary for my well-being.
