This is the most beautiful painting! I feel lucky and blessed that I came across it! My husband and I honeymooned in Mo’orea and we had taken many pictures in front of this church. To find that Greg Collins painted it was such a joy! We will treasure it forever!

I was super-pleased with my photo print purchase! Like many people, I’m sure, when making online purchases there’s always just a little voice of skepticism in the back of my mind. I knew I liked the image, but had to roll the dice that it would look good in person, the frame would be adequate, etc. I must say it exceeded even my hopeful expectations! First of all, the packing was stellar. The photo print did look great in person, and the framing was WAY better than I was expecting! It was ready to go with a sturdy hanging wire already in place. Unfortunately it was a gift, so I don’t have a photo of it on my wall! I did, however, open and inspect it before wrapping it and re-shipping (in the same stellar packing!). I would easily recommend FineArtAmerica and will happily shop with them again in the future…worry free!

I have been painting in oil on canvas and board for over twenty five years in an realist style with a impressionist flair! I love to paint "plein air" mostly landscapes, marine scenes, gardens and still lifes. I paint in oil, acrylic and watercolor and find that each medium has its benefits. I love the feel of the oil paint as it goes on the canvas and the texture of paint which attracts the eye. Brush strokes which reveal the texture of the paint highlight my love for the medium of oil paint. Contrasts in values with appropriate colors also are important in conveying the beauty of the scene which I hope will be a source of refuge and a higher spiritual plane for the viewer. Art should be a place that elevates the spiritual and brings...
